www.w-photography.co.uk is the online portfolio of Mark Weir who is based in Perth, Scotland.  Mark is inspired by natural light and the power it can give to an image.  The initial passion started with his first digital SLR and focused on landscape photography,  which has taken him to various locations. This took Mark to places in Scotland he had never seen before and has brought many happy memories of a country filled with such natural beauty.

Having developed his skills with natural light, he then took the decision to seek a new photographic challenge, this led into photographing portraits and weddings.  Mark has been trained by Brett Harkness who is not only an internationally acclaimed photo journalist, but one of the best wedding photographers in the UK, with his work displayed in Cosmopolitan Bride magazine and Professional Photographer to name but a few.

Marks assistant Jamie is also a keen and budding photographer with a creative flair inspired by his Graphic Design background.  Jamie is the second photographer at weddings, he helps in the studio and all other tasks as necessary.
